PPWH donationAlienation recently attended the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Business lunch at Glasgow City Chambers sponsored by Campbell Dallas. Previous speakers have included Sir Malcolm Rifkind, Sir Fred Goodwin, Sir Terry Leahy, Brian Souter, Lord McLuskey and Robert Wiseman. This year our guest speaker was Willie Haughey, Executive Chairman of City Refrigeration Holdings and Chairman of Scottish Enterprise Glasgow. Fred Hallsworth, Former head of TMT at Deloitte and a member of the Scottish Enterprise Board hosted the lunch.

At the lunch Alienation were delighted to present the Hospice with a cheque for £1,000 to show our appreciation for the services they provide. The PPWH web site has been a great success in promoting the Hospice and the invaluable services it offers to the wider community – along with helping the hospice have a record breaking fundraising year.

Staying on the charity theme, Alienation has won number of new contracts, including the London based Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (acevo). From initial contact through to win, Alienation were involved in a 6 month selection process up against a number of top London agencies.

  • turnover £9.5 billion a year
  • employ 200 000 staff members
  • manage over 3 million volunteers

Work has started on the new site for RFL Group. Based in Dunblane with offices throughout the UK, RFL is a privately owned company providing IT management solutions.

The Watson Construction Group is an independent Scottish group founded 1870 that consists of 3 companies, Watson Construction, Watson Stonecraft and Scottish Natural Stones. Alienation won the contract to provide a ‘portal’ solution for the Watson Group of companies which will allow all 4 (the Group, Construction, Stonecraft and Natural Stones) sites to be controlled through the one content management system.
