Alienation the Glasgow based e-commerce/web design company announced today the launch of their latest website to go online. The site name will be a familiar one - Winners at the Web (W@W) - however the new design and indeed new-featured site for their client Scottish Enterprise looks in every sense itself an award winner.
Alienation, who themselves were finalists in the 2001 competition, in the e-supplier category, were chosen to develop the website for the 2002 competition.
Neil Barr, Managing Director at Alienation commented "The administration for the entire process - entry to judging - is now available on line and consequently, Scottish Enterprise will see significant time reductions in administration." He continued "Information is now on line for all W@W teams around the country, negating the delays for dissemination" "Finally this year judges can view, judge and mark each business online reducing the workload and timelines to complete this process. The judges themselves (there are over 30) now have access to their own Content Management System (CMS) and this also allows W@W admin to control the entire site - from assigning judges, changing text, viewing statistics and reports to altering marking and closing dates"
Joan Graham of Scottish Enterprise announced "Alienation have been excellent. W@W has a very complicated back end system for accepting entries and this has been designed extremely well. I would definitely recommend Alienation"
