Alienation is wholly owned by the Managing Director, Neil Barr, who has been working in this industry for over 15 years. Bringing additional strength and experience to the board is Ken Beattie. Ken currently holds a number of non-executive positions in the Scottish business IT sector, having successfully founded a number of software companies.

Alienation was involved in setting up the Scottish Enterprise E-business Suppliers Certification scheme. The e-Mark was launched in September 2003 and Alienation were one of the first to achieve certification.

Over the years, Alienation and our clients have won a number of awards such as the Scottish Enterprise Web Developers competition and Glasgow Regional winners at Winners at the Web 2003. Our clients range from charities to councils, from multinationals to new start ups.
