Alienation Digital puts Glasgow on the map |

Glasgow City Marketing Bureau has managed to generate a hugely positive reputation, boasting 5 consecutive year wins as the “best UK convention bureau”, and putting Glasgow on the map as an attractive international conference destination. ![]() Alienation Digital worked with the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau to develop a presentation that remained both informational and aesthetically pleasing, with strong imagery and creative use of multimedia guides to the city. These animated guides consisted of an international look at direct flight connections with Glasgow (see above), and an overview of the city and its main attractions (see below). Alienation managed to create sleek, up-to-date presentation inputs that depicted the style and standard of Glasgow, and greater Scotland, as a fantastic business and tourist destination. ![]() Consequently, Glasgow is now listed as 29th in the International Congress and Convention Association’s ratings, and second only in the UK to London. In addition, it is reported that more than 25,000 people visited Glasgow last year for conferences, massively enhancing Glasgow’s economy and recognition worldwide (The Glaswegian, 2011). In response to the work carried out by Alienation Digital, Elaine Dickie, Senior Marketing Manager at the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, said; “We were delighted with the finished outputs.
