Following Alienation Digital’s continued success with contracts such as the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre, the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research and TBD-UK, EVIMalaR has recruited Alienation to develop a new website that will reflect the sophistication of the research carried out within the institution.
EVIMalaR, the European Virtual Institute for Malaria Research, is a joint research project at the University of Glasgow, with members based around the world. The organisation carries out extensive research into the prevention, protection and treatment of malaria parasites.
With growing global recognition and exciting new research projects underway, EVIMalaR approached Alienation Digital to redesign its existing website in order to establish itself as a leading global malaria research institute. Alienation Digital will construct a site that is accessible and user-friendly for both visitors at the front-end and EVIMalaR staff to update and edit from the back-end. The new site will incorporate a restricted area for the password-protected sharing of sensitive research data between specific members and an online submission element. In addition, Alienation Digital will work to create unique features such as an interactive map, highlighting members’ locations around the globe.
The team at Alienation Digital is pleased to be involved with such an interesting and progressive organisation and project, which is set to enhance EVIMalaR’s reputation and put these dedicated researchers on the map.
