Alienation Digital, the award winning Scottish E-business Solutions company has just secured new funding of £100,000. The funding, from both the Public and Private sector will assist Alienation in the further development of their Email Marketing Utility (EMU) in response to growing customer demand.

Commented Neil Barr, Alienation's Managing Director:

"In this difficult sales climate, it's vital that companies effectively utilise all the touch points available to their customers and prospects". He continued "Many companies are reactive rather than proactive when it comes to marketing - a mailer every 6 months or when sales are down, a Newsletter for 2 quarters and then dropped. Yet research continually shows that regular nurtured marketing contact with potential clients gains sales faster"

"Traditionally the costs in terms of time and money have been off-putting, indeed the very thought of creating a regular mailer or newsletter with all the effort involved makes most sales and marketing folks pale!"

"EMU is the alternative solution. For a small monthly fee you can simply and quickly generate mailers, newsletters and attachments to set dates or target audience. Additionally, EMU accepts data from the leading CMS packages and then updates them on campaign completion. With online reports available and e-mail notification when a customers clicks on your website, users have seen sales opportunities soar."

With new European anti-spam laws coming in to force soon (and with the UK government looking at the issues), it has never been more important for companies to ensure they collect valuable ‘opt in’ data from their customers and potential customers.
