As unemployment figures rise above 2 million, and small businesses close at a rate of almost 300 a week across the UK, it has never been more important for businesses and the unemployed to be able to gain access to the impartial, expert advice that could help them through the recession.
Today sees the launch of Events North East, the new Business Link website which will be the online home of everything you need to know about Business Link events in the north east of England.
Business Link provides free business advice to organisations of all shapes and sizes, to help them beat the recession by improving in areas such as financial management, leadership, and marketing.
Alienation Digital won a competitive tender to build an events website which would make Business Link events more accessible to the public as well as making the events programmes easier for administrators to manage. The site has been designed intuitively so that options unfold that help the visitor narrow their search until they find what they’re looking for.
True to the Business Link philosophy, accessibility has been enhanced through the search engine optimisation of key pages on the site, so that events are not only clearly laid out but also easy to find through searches on Google, Yahoo and MSN.
