Last week our team celebrated a successful year by turning our office into Glasgow's newest Friday night hotspot – with a buffet, champagne and even our very own disco balls.
Joined by our friends from the collaborative initiative Cross Creative, PR company BIG Partnership, and marketing consultancy firm Market Transformations, the Alienation team let their hair down and raised a glass to our successes.
In the last year Alienation has continued to expand and grow, developing an increasingly strong focus on innovation – in terms of services, processes and technology. As part of this, our Senior Developer has taken up the new position as Head of Innovation and is now working remotely, but still full-time, from the digital hub that is San Francisco. In addition, Alienation is currently undertaking a number of highly creative and innovative projects with high profile companies... watch this space!
As the company expands its client base, including a number of projects both in the UK and internationally, we have grown our team; increasing our staff body by 38% in the last 10 months alone; adding technical, design and sales resources; and establishing a dedicated in-house marketing capacity. All of these efforts support our aspirations to push boundaries and innovate both within the digital environment and across sectors.
In line with a string of recent project wins, we are happy to report sustained profitability and outstanding performance with turnover breaking the £1million mark: an increase of 35% from 2011 to 2012. Furthermore, with sales targets and annual objectives being met the future looks bright for Alienation Digital.
We couldn't have achieved all we have in the last year without our dynamic team and wonderful clients, so well done to everyone and here's to another fantastic year!
