A full log is stored of all access and functions carried out. Control access to your website - set up a private extranet area, publish pages & documents and assign access to your members. Unlimited number of access levels available.
  • User administration – stay in full control over who has access (and their level of access) to Publish. A full content review process can be built in so that content can be approved before publishing live on the site.
  • User logs - view logs on all activity within the cms. Allows you to monitor who logged in and the functions they performed.
  • Content control - organise the content held in the cms. Create folders for content and/or pages. Archive content and re-use at a later date.
  • Stats - view live statistical reports on the number of site visitors, search terms used to find your site, most popular pages, etc. Study how your site is being used & found and adapt your site to increase visitor numbers and usage.

Site Control

Our easy to use interface makes organising your CMS content easy. Content is just one click away from editing. The Publish homepage gives you access to all content, pages and site structures.
  • Pages - easily create new pages (or edit existing pages) and add to anywhere on the site. Have full control over each page such as where it appears on the site menu and the page content. Preview pages before publishing and control the ‘publish on’ and ‘publish off’ dates.
  • Structure - organise your site structure, move pages and/or sections around and add in sub sections. Reorganise your site structure and revert the site back to previous saved ‘snapshots’. Your site menu is created automatically and menu links can be external (i.e. to another site or sub site). A site map is created automatically.
  • URL Redirection - If you are sending out marketing material, rather than give out a web address such as www.your address.com/news.cfm?id=234 which isn’t very user friendly, the URL mapping features lets you set up friendlier addresses such as www.youraddress.com/newsletter. This address can then be set up to link directly to the page you want.
  • Portals - Control multiple sites through the one content management system. Set up new sites with unique or shared content, control the web addresses pointing to each site and set up individual meta data, structures, header access and templates for each site.

Content control
Easily format text, cut and paste images, spellcheck and preview content before publishing live. Prepare content ready for publishing on the site. Simply check the box to make the information ‘live’. Allows content to be reused or prepared in advance of publication. Dates can be set for content to be automatically published or removed from the site.
  • Content - easily create/edit content using the easy to use editor which gives you full control over formatting of text, cut and paste from other documents (such as Word) and keep all formatting, creating tables, inserting images, spell checking, links, special characters, inserting flash files and insert universal characters - from Arabic to Vietnamese. All your images are stored for future re-use and can be organised in to folders.
  • File Management - upload PDF’s, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc., for adding to any of your pages. Publish contains an FTP area to allow you to upload large files in to the system.
  • List Management - Lists may be created from your content types (such as your basic text content or downloads). This allows you to create a list of links on a page (either viewable or not viewable from the main menu) to other items of content. Lists may be ordered as wished and may be pageing enabled (e.g. previous/next)
  • Image Manipulation - For key images, a number of different automatic image manipulation features can be implemented. These include cropping, resizing, placing text over the image, blur, sharpen and combining with other images.

Marketing
  • Meta Data - add meta data (titles, keywords & description) for each page. Change key information to optimise your search engine listing. This will allow you full control over the web page titles and the hidden Meta data stored in every web page. Thus you can change areas critical to good search engine listings, re-submit your site to the search engines and monitor the results.
  • Header access - insert ‘hidden’ code in to any page. Useful for inserting tracking codes such as Googles Analytics service or Google AdWords conversion tracking.
  • Statistics - View monthly site statistics through Publish. See the number of page hits, search terms used to find your site, where your visitors are coming from and which pages are your most popular.
  • Email Marketing - Capture email addresses through online forms. Edit your email template (such as a Newsletter) and send to your list. Report on delivery, messages opened, links clicked.

Functional Content
Functional content can be controlled and displayed in a number of ways. For example a dedicated News section can be set up, showing a list of recent news headlines, brief synopsis and link to the full articles. Alternatively, any of the individual news items can be posted anywhere on the site amongst other copy. This is of benefit when you have individual news, faq’s or events that relate to another item of content. Example content types include:
  • News
  • FAQ’s
  • Testimonials
  • Events (including online booking)
  • Clients
  • Services
  • Discussion areas
  • Publications
  • Calls To Action - Calls to Action are designed to convert the site users interest into action - such as making contact, making a purchase or delving deeper in the site. Publish allows you to add calls-to-action to your site pages
  • RSS Feeds (internal) - Many companies provide their site content in RSS feeds (Really Simple Syndication) - such as news headlines from the BBC, The Scotsman or the Register. Using the RSS function you can add feeds to your site.
  • RSS Feeds (external) - offer your content to other websites as RSS feeds.

Form & Poll Builder
  • Design Forms & Polls - multiple forms or polls which can be created and added to any of your site pages. Our drag and drop feature allows you to easily rearrange your form fields. Forms are validated before submission and can include required fields. Form data is emailed to the designated contact and stored in Publish. This data can then be exported in .CSV format.

Member Management
  • Manage member accounts (i.e. an Extranet area) and set up an unlimited number of membership levels. When pages are assigned to the site you can stipulate which level of membership is required to access that page. Access can be determined down to the individual and/or page level.

E-commerce Management

Customers will be able to add multiple products to their basket and Publish will let you cross reference and group products. Therefore, when an item has been added to a shoppers basket, additional items could be promoted that they may also wish to purchase.
  • Orders - View completed sales and customer account details
  • Products - add, delete and edit your suite of products
  • Special Offers - mark products as on special offer.
  • Multiple currencies - automatically show prices converted in to a number of currencies or manually set prices.
  • Multiple prices - offer items at different prices depending on member status.
  • Vouchers/Discount Codes - distribute eVouchers or discount codes for special offers.

Languages

Publish provides the facility to add alternative language versions of your content. When site users select the site in a different language, for any content that does not have an alternative in that language, the default English content will be substituted. Key information such as menu names and page titles can also be changed to other languages.
