Alienation Digital is thrilled to announce the launch of the new Dance GB microsite for long-term client Scottish Ballet. Alienation has developed an ongoing and prosperous relationship with Scottish Ballet, having created the educational web design for the Scottish Ballet Connect youth site, and being selected to design the new Scottish Ballet core website. This latest project sees Alienation launch an innovative microsite dedicated to celebrating dance in light of the imminent Olympic Games. ![]() The Dance GB microsite supports the unique collaboration of Scottish Ballet, National Dance Company Wales, and English National Ballet, as they tour the UK as part of the London 2012 Cultural Festival. The site provides vital information on tour dates, booking resources, an insight into the dance companies, and integrates multimedia, including a film and gallery section, to create an enjoyable user experience. The clean, structured design makes the site easy to navigate and the use of bold imagery clearly communicates the site’s purpose, whilst engaging the user’s imagination. Alienation is delighted to launch this latest site for Scottish Ballet and looks forward to the next stages of the main website development. Heather Crumley, Marketing & Communications Editor at Scottish Ballet, said; “Following the success of the Scottish Ballet Connect website we returned to Alienation Digital to develop our new Dance GB and Scottish Ballet websites. We are delighted to continue this fruitful working relationship and have been very happy with the results they have achieved for us so far. The Dance GB site efficiently communicates our vision and looks fantastic. Thanks to all those involved and we look forward to the next stage of this project.”
