Open source matters. For that reason, we are delighted to announce the release of extensions for the open source Joomla content management system. Joomla is the worlds most popular award winning CMS system. Part of its popularity comes down to the thousands of extensions available to enhance the core system. Alienation has benefited from this community of developers and thought it was about time we gave something back. Today sees the release to two extensions developed by Alienation for Joomla - with more to follow. ![]() Alienation AccessKeys This free extension allows a user to immediately jump to a specific web page via the keyboard - using what is called access keys or accesskeys. Alienation AccessKey extension for Joomla 1.5 (component + module) allows you to define access keys for pages on your web site. The component allows for adding/editing/deleting of access keys which can be an important part of accessibility for web sites. Alienation Image Editor Editing graphics for your web site can often be a pain, especially if you don't have a dedicated gaphics package or understand dpi and screen resolutions. Alienation Image Editor is a web-based image editor that sits within the Joomla CMS and lets you edit images for use on your site without using a graphics programme. It has a lot of interactive features such as crop, resize, rotate, zoom, flip, etc. Visit our new Joomla extensions store for more information. |
