Cheshire based Social entrepreneur Malcolm McLean has enlisted Alienation’s web design and development skills to create two new websites promoting his activities supporting young men with depression, and inspiring people to make a living from doing what they love.
It’s a Goal is an organisation which helps men aged 16- 35 to deal with depression, poor confidence and low self esteem. Men of this age are more likely than any other in group in society to commit suicide and often have trouble communicating their problems. It’s a Goal is a programme which breaks down the barriers for men to talk about their problems by hosting events alongside football clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City and Stockport County.
Bear Hunt is a business built around a book, which aims to help people make a living from doing what they love. The business has expanded on the theme of the book to provide conferences, events and consultancy. Famous fans include Bobby Charlton and Radio Five’s Alan Green.
