Alienation is delighted to launch the new West of Scotland Cancer Centre website, adding to its diverse portfolio in the medical research sector which currently includes clients such as EVIMalaR, The Beatson Institute, and ECRC.
The Cancer Research UK West of Scotland Cancer Centre, also known as We Can for short, aspires to consolidate Glasgow's strong resources and reputation in cancer research to exploit its full potential. Partnering with The Beatson Institute for Cancer Research, The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Center, the NHS, and the Universities of Strathclyde and Glasgow, We Can looks to turn knowledge into cures.
Alienation has created a new site that aims to enhance interactions and communication between Glasgow's cancer researchers, whilst raising awareness of the work We Can is doing within the wider cancer research community. The bespoke slider banner displays a number of relevant images and messages to communicate the centre's vision, as well as providing an interactive map that allows users to hover over partner centres throughout Glasgow to view the building, thus generating a stronger identity for We Can and its community.
Key features also include the 'Research' section, which segments cancer research teams according to the particular problem they are focused on, providing dedicated areas on the site to detail team members, related events, relevant publications and more useful information.
Alienation Digital is thrilled to launch the new We Can website that looks set to establish the centre as a critical resource and communications platform for the Glasgow cancer research community.
Jackie Beesley, Scientific Administrator at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research, said; "We are particularly excited about our Cancer Teams initiative and are looking forward to seeing how this brings cancer researchers from diverse disciplines together."
