Following two very competitive and exciting tenders, Alienation can now proudly announce the addition of two new clients in the education sector to our ever-growing portfolio:  Adam Smith College and Stirling Management School.

Adam Smith College sent out a tender for the creation of a new website because their existing platform was, though congruent with the brand identity, no longer sufficiently user friendly.   The brief detailed a need for an innovative agency to create a simple but engaging user interface that would differentiate them from their peers and present a clear and consistent design to the user.

Stirling Management School feels that its current website lacks a certain something and is now seeking an engaging, imaginative and visually appealing website that will work within the University's new corporate template.    A key requirement of the site is the measurability of its success, so by using Google Analytics and working closely with the School's marketing team, Alienation will provide ongoing analysis and evaluation that will help measure the extent of the new website’s success.

Lisa Campbell, School Marketing Officer, is confident that Alienation Digital is up to the challenge:

"Stirling Management School has a mission to achieve world leading research, learning and knowledge exchange in niche areas of management. Our existing web presence no longer effectively portrays the forward thinking nature of the School.

"We put the website out to tender in order to find the right agency to deliver a cutting edge website for us, and we chose Alienation for their track record in designing innovative, dynamic and engaging websites for diverse international audiences"

Both organisations face the challenge of appealing to a wide range of stakeholders, including current and prospective students, staff, academics and the media, to name but a few.   As such, the Alienation team will adopt a collaborative design approach, liaising with members of staff and engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate persona development, wire framing and the creation of a new information architecture, processes that will all help to enhance user experience in the final site.

Neil Barr, Alienation MD says“We are over the moon to have won these contracts with two of Scotland’s most forward-thinking educational establishments.  We look forward to working closely with both clients and continuing our philosophy of a unique design for every client.”
