Scottish Ballet: Connect |
BriefAlienation was tasked with creating an inspiring microsite for Scottish Ballet Connect that is aimed at young people but also provides a teaching resource for schools. The Connect site had to be consistent with the existing Scottish Ballet brand identity whilst introducing youthful elements such as colourful visuals and an interactive homepage. SolutionAlienation created a refreshing design that stays true to the Scottish Ballet brand but appeals directly to the younger target audience. The homepage provides a dynamic visual that takes the visitor on a journey backstage at a Scottish Ballet show. From there the illustrative navigation encourages them to engage with the site and visit other areas of interest. ResultsThe site has enhanced the company's appeal to a younger target audience and positioned them appropriately to further develop brand awareness and public involvement, receiving almost 500 visits on average every month (February - July 2011).
