We believe that business should be about more than just making money. It should be about responsibility and public good.  Alienation is committed to social responsibility. It is our strongly held belief that you only get out of life what you put in and it is only right that we share our success with good causes. To that end we set up our yearly pro bono day where we dedicate the entire company’s resources to a chosen cause.For 2009 our aim was to help charities. Our designers and developers designed and built a new website for ISEA Scotland. ISEA, Independent Special Education Advice, enables children and young people with additional support needs to receive effective resources in order to help them reach their potential. Due to the overwhelming response to our original offer, we opened it up to also include free digital marketing seminars in Glasgow and London for 30 additional charities and have committed the company to providing pro bono work every year for a chosen cause. With our new environmental policy & commitment to remain carbon neutral, our donations to local causes, sponsorship deals and charity prize donations – see this years Glasgow Twitter Festival – Twestival 2010 – we want to embed social responsibility in our day-to-day business. Staff are encouraged to play their part and open themselves up to the benefits a responsible attitude can bring.
