Following a successful year, which saw the agency break the £1million mark and increase profitability by 33%, Alienation Digital welcomes two new team members to our expanding Glasgow office:
Duncan Nicoll, BSc Computer Animation & Multimedia (with Distinction) - Duncan joins our talented web development team;
Greg McAusland, Experienced Front-End Developer & Designer - Greg is the newest addition to our web design team, taking up the role of Alienation's Front-End Developer.
What attracted you to the role?

Duncan:
The types of projects worked on and the creativity and passion that are put into each one.
Greg:
Finding a company clued up and willing to use new front end technologies is extremely rare, and exciting. I feel like AD will allow me to push myself to new heights.
What was the last company you worked for/your last job?
Duncan:
Lead developer for the Recommended Agency Register.
Greg:
A Glasgow agency called INDEZ, as the Head of front-end development & design.
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
Duncan:
I have appeared on TV in a band.

Greg:
I watch more Korean media than British. I think thats more odd (and exceptionally dull) than interesting.
What is your favourite film of all time?
Duncan:
I have lots of favourites, one of the top would be The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
Greg:
Do I have to pick one? ...It would be a death match between the Godfather (pt1), Battle Royale and Advent Children.
If you could be anyone for a day who would it be and why?
Duncan:
I would be Bill Murray - Reason : It's Bill Murray!
Greg:
Yoo Jaesuk. A difficult candidate to explain, but It would be interesting to be as popular as this guy for a day. Anyone who knows him will know what I'm talking about!
What are your interests outside work?
Duncan:
I'm into music (both listening and creating), film making, film watching, photography, games, most sports, hiking, reading and creative coding.
Greg:
Film, gaming, the usual nonsense... Oh and chasing a mental 3 year old Golden Setter named Piper around the beach.
These latest additions bring the agency's head count up to 25, a massive 38% growth in staff in the last 10 months.
Alienation welcomes its newest recruits and looks forward to another successful year with its growing and talented team.
