Alienation Digital implemented its bespoke multi-site manager, which allows multiple websites to be managed within a single content management system. For Pitlochry Festival Theatre this means both new websites designed by Alienation, as well as their Enchanted Forest website are all available and controlled from one central point.

Since the initial PFT integration both our own Tessitura solution and the Tessitura API has come a long way.
Full integration with Tessitura API.
All user login, registration & account management is handled via the API and stored within Tessitura but presented via the website.
Data stored in XML cache file to improve page loading time.
"What's on" search pulls performances directly from Tessitura with users having the ability to search by date or genre, or both.
CSS was utilised to present the seating plan visually in a "bird's eye view" of the actual venue.
Seating plan dynamically generated by seating date returned via API.
Users can select preferred seats if available & add them to their basket.
Enchanted Forest website was updated to use the same Tessitura integration as PFT.

The interface is fully integrated with the design template from the directing website ensuring a seamless transition between the website and the booking system, and creating an enjoyable and intuitive user experience.

The PFT site continues to perform well with unique visitors up 75% in October 2011 compared with October 2012.
The ticketing solution has proven robust, handling a huge last minute surge in sales for the theatre's annual Enchanted Forest event, which resulted in an increase of 600% in daily ticket sales over the net alone, in comparison to same week/day in the previous year.
